Young Professionals Cebu @MATIC

As a bilateral business organization that recognizes the important role of the youth in shaping the business landscape in the country, the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) created a Young Professionals Committee (YPC) in Manila last year to promote the inclusion of youth in business.

YPC is composed of young professionals and entrepreneurs representing a wide spectrum of sectors. By electing dedicated executive board officers to take the lead on focus areas such as advocacy, commerce, events, finance, I.T., and social media, the committee aims to provide a gateway for young business leaders, professionals and entrepreneurs to the European business community in the Philippines. It offers members a platform to make a difference in both the local and international business environment by means of innovative strategies, ideas, advocacies, and events specifically designed for the development of young professionals and entrepreneurs in the Philippines.

Due to a successful run of the Young Professionals Committee (YPC) and its membership platform in Manila, the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) is expanding it to Cebu.

On November 04, 2015, ECCP Cebu launched the Young Professionals Cebu at the Materials Innovation Centre (MATIC) in DOST 7 Banilad S&T Complex along Gov. M. Cuenco Avenue in Banilad, Cebu City. A networking night of cocktails aimed at gathering Cebu’s young and creative minds. Committee leaders from YPC Manila came down and briefly introduced the concept of YPC and how it started.

Guests are expected to get a grasp of the concept, appoint the pioneer committee leaders, and initially discuss the potentials of the Cebu Chapter.
